Tonozz publishes yacht, corporate service, emergency service, technical service and crew listings and enables direct contact with advertisers. This policy explains how visitors’ and account holders’ information is used. The operator and data controller is TONOZZ TEKNOLOJİ ANONİM ŞİRKETİ. Detailed purposes, legal grounds and rights are set out in the Personal Data Notice (KVKK).
1. Accounts and listings
We process identity and contact details and a password when you register, and additional information entered in profile forms. Corporate accounts also involve business and representative details and verification documents. Listing text, images, location, professional information and contact details selected for publication are used to provide the listing service.
Published listings are public. Visitors can also access the telephone details provided in a listing’s contact area. Only include information necessary for the listing that you are entitled to share. Do not publish identity documents, health information or other people’s private details in listing text or images. Documents uploaded to the separate corporate verification area are not listing content.
2. Visibility and control
Pausing a listing removes it from public display on Tonozz and keeps it in your account. Republishing requires the necessary administrator approval. Pausing does not close your account or erase data from every system. Copies previously created by search engines may be updated according to their own processes; you can contact us about removal.
You can correct account information in your account and send account closure or personal data requests to info@tonozz.com. Proportionate additional information may be needed to verify that the request is yours. Records subject to legal retention requirements are assessed separately.
3. Providers and security
We use Güzelhost for hosting and Google Workspace for email. Optional Google Analytics and Google Ads, Google reCAPTCHA on the contact form and external font/CDN resources on pages may also process data. Their roles and overseas processing are described in the Personal Data Notice (KVKK) and Cookie Management.
Protect your account with a strong, unique password and report suspected unauthorised access. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. This statement does not remove Tonozz’s statutory data security duties.
4. Choices and retention
You can reject optional analytics and advertising cookies. Registration, accepting a contract or using the website is not marketing consent. Account messages needed to operate and secure the service are distinct from advertising messages.
Data is kept for the period required by applicable legislation or, where no period is prescribed, only for as long as its processing purpose requires. When the legal grounds for retention cease, erasure, destruction or anonymisation must be applied; personal data in backups is also covered. See the Personal Data Notice (KVKK) for details.
5. Changes and contact
This policy is updated when processing purposes or services change; additional information and an appropriate legal basis are provided where required. Earlier acceptance does not automatically authorise a new paid service or a different use of data. Contact details are available under Company Information.
6. Sign in with Google
Google sign-in is optional; registration and sign-in with an email address and password remain available. If you choose Google, your Google-verified name, email address and unique Google account ID are processed to create your Tonozz account, securely connect an existing account and start a session. We do not request your Google password, Gmail messages, contacts or Drive files. If the Google-verified @gmail.com address matches an existing account, the accounts are connected without asking for the Tonozz password. Other email addresses require the Tonozz password to confirm ownership on the first connection. New members provide a phone number and separately accept the relevant account agreement. We do not save the Google profile picture as your account image.
Google Identity Services provides the Google button on sign-in and registration pages; your browser connects to Google servers on these pages. Google may process your IP address, browser information and technical data relating to its own session. This service is separate from Google Workspace email and optional analytics/advertising tools; analytics or advertising consent does not accept an account agreement. Data for account creation, session management and account security is processed to establish/perform the service and protect its security, subject to applicable conditions in Article 5 of the KVKK. Google services may involve overseas processing; the necessary transfer mechanism and related rights are addressed under the Personal Data Notice (KVKK).
